• STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE - Inspiring parishioners to lend their time and talents.  Provides support to the leadership of ministries and groups.
• PUBLICITY - Promoting the works of the Church, including the website

• RELIGIOUS EDUCATION - Held Tuesday afternoons from September through May for K - 8 children not attending Catholic school (called CCD or PSR in some parishes)
• CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD - Held during 10:30 am Mass at St. Aedan for young children.  Conducted September through May to prepare children for Mass.
• PARISH BIBLE STUDY - Weekly sessions at St. Aedan to discuss God's Word
• VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL CAMP - One-week summer camp for kids through grade 8
• COMING HOME: WELCOMING RETURNING CATHOLICS - Month-long seminar for inactive Catholics to renew their participation in the Church

• CHILDREN'S CHOIR - For children grades 3 through 8 during 9:00 am Mass at St. Brendan
• CANTORS - Needed at all Masses to lead parishioners in song
• INSTRUMENTALISTS - Adding to the richness and vibrancy of musical arrangements at Mass
• LITURGICAL ART & ENVIRONMENT GROUP (ALTAR GUILD) - Our "interior decorators" of the Church, assisting with flowers, altar preparation, seasonal decorating and Church cleaning
• EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION - Commissioned parishioners who minister the Body and Blood of Christ
  
• LECTORS - For those with strong public speaking skills interested in proclaiming the Word of God during Mass
• USHERS & GREETERS - Welcoming and assisting Parishioners during Mass with seating, collections and other needs

• SEWING GUILD - Creating and maintaining alter linens, vestments, robes and parayer shawls
• VOCATIONAL RESOURCE COMMITTEE - For parishioners with a calling for the priesthood, permanent diaconate, religious life and consecrated stewardship

• GROUNDS COMMITTEE - Oversees grounds maintenance.  Join us for "coffee in the gardens" every Saturday at 9:00 am at St. Aedan Church.

The Community Action Committee creates opportunities for service outside of the Parishes.  Missions include:

• COLUMBUS HOUSE - Preparing and serving meals monthly at one of New Haven's largest homeless shelters
• PRO-LIFE - Supporting nationwide efforts in support of this basic tenant of the faith
• CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE - Providing gifts to needy elderly through Christmas tree "gift wish tags"
• FOOD COLLECTION - Benefiting various organizations through monthly collections
